Tim
Thank you for the update.

I'm so pleased for you that your father's birth family are happy to have contact.

Gwyn, do you know if 120 Seabrook Rd is still there? I can't locate it on Street view in Google and I wondered how big and how old it was. There was a sizeable family living there for it also to be housing mums-to-be. The nurse who lived there seemed to have developed her midwifery business by 1939 with another nurse at a place called The Nursery.

Tim I will make it my mission to find out !

We couldn't find it easily on Streetview either , but I think it might still be there.

Even numbers are on the south side of the road and numbered from the west end of the road. ...ie Hythe going towards Folkestone
I think 120 is the last of the houses before a row of bungalows that are set back from the road.

If you look on Streetview for a house in the high teens eg. 114 - 118 you might be able to see house numbers on the garden walls and work out location of 120.

When possible,I will take a look at the area and see what I can find out about it.

Well it's definitely still there. I made a point of looking this afternoon.

Haven't had a chance to research the history yet, but will do so soon.
