The surname Prynn, is often transcribed as...Pryn...Prinn...Prin

The only child that might possibly be with Richard and Martha on the 1841 census is...

All their other children are accounted for.

Well, I c an't see them anywhere :-(

All I did manage to find was a little snippet from the newspaper saying that Richard had lost both his hands in a mining accident (If it is the same one?)


Menheniot. —A serious accident occurred Wheal Mary Ann Mine on Friday night, the 13th instant, about ten o'clock, to Richard Prin, miner, residing at Menheniot, who had both hands shattered, whilst blasting a hole in the said mine. It appears that he........

Have you got Thomas's marriage to Catherine Parsons? One of the witnesses is a William Pryn and Richard is down as a Labourer which cold mean in a mine.

If it hadn't stated "Widow" I might have been more convinced.
