Find Ancestors

Please could someone help. I'm trying to help a friend out but struggling.
They are trying to find out info on,
William Kitcher b. 1814 Chelsea. We believe he was a sergeant in the army. He married Eleanor (Hogan) b. 1815 Ireland. I have no other info on her, as unable to find any marriage or birth details.
Known children,
William b. 1838 Carlisle
Jane b. 1841 Scarborough
Joseph b. 1849 Driffield.

I have found them all in the 1851 census and the 1861 census, but his wife is down as Elizabeth born in Lincolnshire.

I know William (1838) married Mary ? And they too had a son called William Henry Kitcher b.1866 Driffield.
Just finding it hard to locate any other info, unless I'm searching wrong.

1856 looks like a second marriage -the cert will tell you his father’s name

The document says he was born in the Parish of St. Luke's in or near the town of Chelsea.

He asked to be discharged himself and relinquished his pension because he wanted to be discharged.

and some william kitcher marriages

if you put in 1835 give or take 5 years then there's 2 marriages

If the Eleanor Hogan marriage mentioned by Safc is this one, it's not the right one:
