Looking for some help please.
I'm trying to find Robert Warriner b. 1860 lockton, Yorkshire. He married Annie Eliza Foster b. 1859 Hutton cranswick, Yorkshire. Think she passed in 1910 but not sure.

I'm trying to locate him in the 1911 census. I've found him in previous censuses, and by 1891 he was a police constable in the Scarborough area.

Are there records available anywhere for policemen?

They had a daughter, Louie Eliza Warriner b. 1882 North Burton, Yorkshire.

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

I don't think that's the right marriage, sadly.

I think this is that couple in 1841:

Hannah Warriner

Age 50

Where born Yorkshire, England

Maybe this one ????

John Warner
Vital • England Marriages, 1538–1973
Name John Warner
Sex Male
Spouse's Name Ann Moon [ another transcription says Moor ]
Spouse's Sex Female
Event Type Marriage
Event Date 2 Dec 1813
Event Place Kirkbymoorside, Yorkshire, England, United Kingdom
Event Place (Original) Kirkby Moorside, York, England

Witnesses: John Shepherd, William Bradley, and Elizabeth Moon.

John Shepherd's probably a parish official of some sort , as he has witnessed quite a lot of marriage records.

BUT -
That couple married "with consent of parents", which doesn't fit with Ann's YOB of 1784 as in records posted above - assuming that means they were under 21 in 1813.

As Shirley says - so many of the same name!
