Following some success yesterday I am asking for a look-up for an Eric A Bennett born Dec qtr 1936 East Retford, am told his parents are John A Bennett and Florence nee Bloom. I don't have their details and hoping to get a date of birth for John and Florence from the register so I can look further back.

I found Emily Bennett in 1901 as a servant to Samuel Mcmillan 34, wife Elizabeth 35 and 2 daughters, Mary 11 and Dorothy 8.

In the 1901 you just posted there is a Dorothy age 8, Grand-daughter to Thomas Bennett and Emily.

Can't believe there is a Bennett and Buckle marriage, as my surname is Buckle, but husbands family do not come from around here!!
