Hi, would be gratful for info from 1921 for the above. Probably living Brixton and married to Caroline. Was music hall entertainer. Interested if there are children or if widowed. TIA, Simon.

I don’t have access but I think you were previously advised to use the freebmd site. This should give you the wife’s name and with any luck , the chance of finding some children.
The 1921 won’t tell you if there were children if the were away from home.

Edgar's year of birth was originally written as 1890 with the change indicated to have been made 9.2.1946

The ONLY marriage on freebmd for a woman named Alysia H is in 1924 of Williams to Elliott, so, if she married Maxwell it wasn’t in England or Wales

An Ancestry tree has Caroline born Caroline Chatwin in Birmingham 1861 !!

Married Lemuel Whitaker 17 Oct 1881 in Birmingham - he was an Actor. Both aged 18

Her stage name given as Carrie Joy. No death for Lemuel or Caroline

If true, certainly wouldn't be having children after the marriage to William.

Got to leave this now - but intrigued
