Rita - please see the reply on General Chat.

As you are a new member, you may not realise that its best to only have one thread per family/request. That's because helpers tend to look at all the boards but may come across one thread while a different helper is trying to assist on another. That ends up as a duplication of effort.

Its also best not to tag a request onto a completely unrelated one started by someone else
Don't worry, you'll soon get the hang of it %3A-%29

Rita
You have called up a very old thread that seems unrelated to your enquiry

It would be better to start your own thread so folks will pick up on your family not the one posted in 2007

You could copy and patste your enquiry into the new thread ti save typing it all again, the delete your reply on this one

You should though not include your personal email address as it's against T&C,s of the site to post personal info

Like me replying on here folks who will try to help will post on your thread as a reply

:-)

Hi. I'm trying to trace any of the MCLAREN family who originially came from scotland and settle in Dublin, east wall area, a large family, about 7 brothers and 1 sister, my grandmother. She was known as Daisy. I'd especially like to hear from Lynda Thompson who has a posting on page 2. Hope you can help, thanks, Marie
