Thanks Sheila. I think he would be in the Battersea area as that is where there are two possible marriages for him, it's where he was in the 1881 and that is where he died. I see that there is a James W Gill from Pimlico in the 1901, in Battersea and his job was a furniture porter. I think this may be him. Thanks Anna

Theresa, it is difficult to search without birth details. I have looked on 1891 & 1901 and cannot find the name Gilland in or around Coventry. I noticed that you have put a thread asking for these details. It is not advisable to put more than one request for the same query. Sheila

Hi Shelia, Looking for some help again 1891 census in scotland please. I have an Elizabeth Russel born 1867 in Forgue Aberdeenshire. She should have a son William with her born about 1885. possibly another child as there was another son that I know of but cannot find any of his details name etc. I dont know where they would be or where the sons were born. I have her in 1881 in Marnoch Banff with an Aunt also Elizabeth Russell, elizabeth was 14 but I do have her birth cert so the details above are correct, I don't think she was married as her marriage in 1895 has her as a spinster and her surname was Russell but I know that is nothing to go by I also have her in 1901 census but these children have dissapeared, some census's have her as Russell others Russel. Anything would be gratefully recieved, Hope this isn't asking the impossible, Many Thanks, Brenda.
