Thanks Cherilyn, I've ordered Emily's death cert., I wish our government was as open-minded as yours. I've got Rowland's service record and casualty file from the internet through Aussie archives, but you can't get a thing from here unless you're nok or have their permission. Regards Max

Hi, Alice Woods maiden name was Kennedy. (see below) Again, thank you for your time. Regards, Lyn. Hello, Thank you for your offer. I am looking for VIC deaths of: Woods - John ( bn c 1820 England) Woods - Alice ( bn c 1831 Ireland) Their deaths would have been after 1860. John & Alice Woods lived mostly in NSW. I haven't been able to locate their deaths in NSW, so I thought VIC would be the next likely place. Thank you in advance. Regards, Lyn

Hi Cherilyn Please could you see if you can find a death for Leonard William Butcher, born 1900 in Luton, Bedfordshire, I know he was alive in 1964. Also his supposed wife Ellen Louisa Butcher, born 1901, Luton, Bedfordshire, mother Elizabeth, also alive in 1964. She may be listed under Ellen Louisa Peat as i am sure they never married, or at least i have never been able to find a record of one. Many thanks Wendy

Hi Wendy I can't see him in NSW or Victoria. Do you know where they lived? Nothing in Ryersons either. There are deaths in WA for Leonard Charles & Ellen BUTCHER but ages don't quite match up (by about 5 years). Sorry Cherilyn

Hi Cherilyn, I was hoping that you could take a look and see if you could possibly find anything on the following siblings. They were all born in Toowoomba, QLD after 1920. Frederick Ralph Owen, Ralph Frederick Owen, Kenneth John Owen and Maisie Owen. Their father's name was William Owen b Lambeth, London 1893c. Greatly appreciated, Deb:)

Hi, I have found on the NSW index a marriage for Charles Dinham & Caroline Harvey in 1838. Are you able to view those certs? The index number is prefixed with a 'V' which I am informed means it's an Early Church record??? I think I found this same couple on the same ship arriving in Australia in 1837 so I need to know from their marriage cert where they originated from in England. I hope you can help!!! Paula

Hi Cherilyn, and thanks for your offer. Unfortunately, I am not sure of dates, but hoping that you might be able to find me some death information re Thomas Hinton BARNETT. He died in Albany, Western Australia, as did his wife, Susan BARNETT, and parents John and Amelia. Their deaths would have occurred in the early - early-mid 20th C. Out of interest, can you tell me how you have access to this info? I am in South Australia and am wondering if you have purchased CDs or fiche or similar. Thanks again for you offer and I will understand if you need more info! Sue

Hi Susan These look like the deaths you seek, all buried at Albany Cemetery: BARNETT , John . -1890 BARNETT , John . -1863 BARNETT , Susan Wilson . -1939 BARNETT , Thomas Hinton . -1936 No sign of Amelia, though. I found these on a great site for country burials, http://www*members*westnet*com*au/web/llarment/index.htm My other records access is from both CD-roms and various online sources (BDMs, burials, obits, military etc). Thomas and Susan (nee GRAINGER or GRANGER) had 3 daughters in Albany - Effie Amelia in 1890 (reg 1364), Ruby Margaret in 1893 (reg 40) and Dorothy Susan in 1897 (reg 3220). You can order certs or check these out at http://www*justice*wa*gov*au Effie married John Andrew MILLS in Plantagenet district (Albany area) in 1918 (reg 19). She died on 13 Mar 1988 in Mt Lawley aged 97 (see www*mcb*wa*gov*au). John was born 27 Aug 1888 in Heath, England (RecordSearch site) and died on 2 May 1971 in Mt Lawley aged 84. Ruby married John Archibald Irvine WILLIAMSON also Plantagenet in 1914 (reg 4). Ruby died on 13 July 1969 aged 76 in Victoria Park (same site). John was born 14 Mar 1891 in Liverpool, England (RecordSearch again) and died 30 Jan 1950 aged 58 in Subiaco. Dorothy married Reginald Thomas Fuller PARNELL in Perth in 1936 (reg 663). She died on 18 Oct 1990 aged 93 in Mt Lawley (same site). Reginald died aged 72 in Como on 3 July 1963. This is the RecordSearch site: http://www*naa*gov*au/The_collection/recordsearch.html Cheers Cherilyn

Hi Cherilyn, I copied and pasted www*raogk*org*au and changed the * to . but nothing came up. What is the website? Also if you don't mind would you please look up a Thomas Morrow in SA. I believe he married an Ellen Mahoney and they had a son John Morrow, but I have no idea of his dob. Probably somewhere around 1840 as I know John was born around 1860 in Kapunda SA. Thank-You! Paula

(hiding from the authorities we think !!) Hope I have given correct spelling re VILLUS, many thanks for your time and help. Regards Jules

Hi Cherilyn, Thanks so much for all of that information on the BARNETTs; it will take me a while to digest it all and I might have to come back later with some more questions - I hope that's OK. You're right about that website, too, it's fantastic and I will keep it on favourites. Are there any other website gems that you wouldn't mind sharing? Thanks again for doing these lookups for me and for all the others. Sue
