Hi Jane Thanks for letting me know the occupation of Arthur Parish but you have made me wonder about the next door neighbour now. They say most adopted children were taken in by neighbours, aunts, godparents etc. Is it possible to have the neighbours name etc just in case it might mean something down the line. I know it's probably a long shot but you never know. BIG Thank you, Kim

hi Jane Thanks so so so very much, your an absolute angel. James & Margaret were married in 1840 Leith, so should have been on a census somewhere. And thanks for helping fill in some of the blanks, gives me a little more info to go searching with. Regards Jeanette

Hi Jane, Can you help me look for Matthew Little in the 1901 census .He would be in a barracks possibly Portsmouth,Plymouth,Chatham or Deal.He was in the Royal Marines Light Infantry and would be aged 19 to 21,born near Edinburgh.Many thanks, Joan.

Kim 1891 9 Dimock(?) st but next door, funnily enough also no. 9 !!! is James Howard 22, Elizabeth 23, Cecil Wm 1, and .......... Elizabeth Parish 17, boarder ....... sorry hadn't spotted that one before. James Howard is the carman 1901 - 42 Di Morgan rd(?) next door at no 40 is William Levens , 32, carman, and wife Annie 29 and 3 boarders Jane

Allan, i did check 1891 for her as a Robinson married to William, but nothing jumping out - very common name !!!
