hello mary again!!!! could you try to fin JOHN WILLIAM KEW abt 1874 1901 census says Shiremon NBL but cannot find him anywhere, have just found a john KEW born 1874 CHESTER LE STREET which is durham not nbl. there is no john kew that matches from here or what i have in the 1881 census. he married in penshaw, county durham in 1898 and his father is named as john william KEW(deceased). i am totally stuck on this one thanx sharon

Hi Sharon No luck with Rachel,but I think there is a good chance the following is Richard: 1861 Sand Road,West Bromwich,Staffs Joseph Burgess Head 43 Engineer b Rowley,Shropshire Elizabeth Burgess Wife 42 b Rowley Thomas Burgess Son 17 Miner John Burgess Son 15 Miner Richard Burgess Son 9 Jonas Burgess Son 6 Joseph Burgess Son 4 All children born West Brom By 1871 Richard was no longer living with the family and there were two daughters Annie b 1861c and Elizabeth b 1864c. You will need to confirm this is the correct family by purchasing the marriage cert and checking fathers names(will also help find Rachel. Regards Mary

hi mary, would you be able to check the 61 and 71 for rachel mills born 1853/1854 all i have is staffordshire, and richard burgess 1853ish also staffordshire they were married in dudley 1874. they moved to county durham and i have them on the 81, 91 and 01 census, childrens names were elizabeth, annie,joseph,richard, mary, daniel,william,john, just in case the names follow grandparents thanx loads sharon

Hi Mary, I wonder if you would mind looking in the 1841 census for Edward Lucas b.1812 Winchester, Hants. Amelia Lucas b. 1808 Westminster, London Harriett Lucas b. 1836 Marylebone, London Henry Lucas b. 1840 Marylebone, London. They and any other children were living in the Marylebone area of London. hi, Mary, looking for Spencer Taylor born about 1829 who in the 1851 Census is a fisherman married to Harriet (23 born in Selby), living at 32 Blanket Row, Kingston –Upon- Hull, Yorkshire (i have been told... but looked on 1861, 1881 and 1891 and can't find (don't have access to 1841 or 61) would you be able to locate this couple please, thanks Jennifer in Canada

Mary, Could you possibly look up the 1901 census for a Joseph Horner in Gateshead, Tyne & Wear. I dont know his wife name but i know he had a daughter called Alice who would have been 5 in the October of 1901. Any help you could give me would be extremly grateful.

Sorry to be a pest Mary But could you please see who was living with George Slasor and Margaret Slasor 1851,and 1861 they would of been living in Durham. ANN
