Thanks Annette, Montague and Caroline Phillipson are mine - but as the others aren't together, I have no idea. Unless you could look for his parents Moses and Sophia under the surnames Levi, Phillips or Phillipson?

Hi, Trying to find my husband's family and they are English so I'm lost (mine is pretty much Scottish). Looking for Montague Phillipson (or Levi) and / or parents ?Moses Phillip Levi and ?Sophia Phillips - parents born ?1786/ 1787. Sorry about vagueness, but it's not my research and I'm after some hard facts if they could be found on a census - Maybe in London somewhere in 1841 as Montague married there in 1846, then emigrated to Australia. Not sure when parents died either? Thanks, Fiona

Hello Annette. Many thanks for your reply and the information. I have to apologise to you as I put the 1871 census and I meant to ask for the 1891. Same area and same name Esther Blunt. So sorry I know you would have spent some time looking in 1871 for me. However this family does (I think) have a connection to my Esther Blunt through her fisrt marriage to Thomas Smith. So it has given me a lead there. Many thanks and much appreciated. Regards. SUE.
