Hi Lesley I wonder if you could solve another mystery for me, I have a family group from the 1851 and 61 census as follows: 1851 samuel guyler 1815 basford bleacher elizabeth wife 1818 beverlee notts george son 1839 basford mary ann dau 1841 beverlee frederick son 1847 mansfield william son 1849 ' emma dau 1851 10weeks basford living academy place basford, Notts 1861 samuel gayler 1815 - note wrong spelling elizabeth frederick william emma john son 1853 samuel son 1855 henry son 1860 what I would like to know is where samuel and elizabeth are in 1871 - are there 2 additional children - Camelia Beatrice and Mary E. If Camelia does not belong here, who is her father and mother Thank you Jan

Thanks Lesley Did you have to go through all the differerent name spellings? - well done! It's meant to be Guyler, they spelt it Gayler in 1861 and now Gaylor!!! But the wife and children are right - didn't know about Augustus! This really is fantastic. I'm just trying to decide along with another lady on GR if the Mary, who is an older sibling of this lot, is her Mary who married Thomas Tomlinson - we had just about decided everything fitted - when you come along and confirm it for us with Elizabetha Tomlinson granddaughter (who is the right age too) - Wow I'll have to go and have a cup of coffee!!! Hello Lesley Could you please check on the 1901 census for Margaret born Shrewsbury c1869 and Ann Brown c 1876 they were living in Pickins Court, Shrewsbury in 1891 with their father Thomas born c1830 in Ireland. Sorry Lesley it should be Mary c1878 not Margaret. Thank you Jackie
