Hi Kate, Could you look for John Dunsmore b.1860 Irvine on 1881 census. Expect him still to be in Ayrshire.His father was Allan Dunsmore, but I know he died before 1883 so don't know who John will be living with.

Hi I hope this is covered by your bivri I am looking for the birth of Janet Gardiner c1901 in Scotland Her parents were William Gardiner and Elizabeth McQueen I know her parents were married in 1895 Calderhead in Lanarkshire and Janet was married in Carluke 1919 but i am unsure exactly where she was born Many thanks Lynda

I'd love to know the details on who was living with her, what their occupations were, and where exactly she was living. Cheers, Emma.

Does the 1881 census cover Aberdeen? I've only researched English relatives so far lol Could you please see if you can find William Begg married to Mary nee Milne they had a son James but that wasn't until 1885 unfortunately. Any leads gratefully received. Thanks Sue
