Hi Lesley, That's great but just one small niggle, Ellen's place of birth is shown as Craven which is an area. I would like it to be Kirkby Malham. Please could you see if later census show anything different - Ellen Leach died in 1873. Many thanks, Frances

leslie once again, is seems as if you may have come up trumps. what you found out does look like it may be right. could you possibly do an 1861 lookup, as i know hannah has gotten married in 1855, thus she would not be on the 1861 census. i, along with everyone else i am sure, really appreciate you doing these lookups for us THANK YOU :) scott

Thank you very much Lesley for all that information. Please would you now check the 1861 census for William E Leach who, according to your 1851 census was born abt 1843 in Bowling, Bradford. He appears to be missing from the 1861 and 1871. Frances

Hi Lesley Thanks for the kind offer. Would you please look for Mabel Ingram in 1901 when she would be about 30. She should be living in Foleshill/ Coventry, Warks. I think she was born there as well. Thank you Heather

Frances

Frances Report 17 Mar 2006 15:14

Thank you for finding William in 1861 in the hotel and for the marriage but unfortunately William's other name is Ellins and by 1871 the Elizabeth, mother of the children was nee Craven but I still have not been able to find a marriage for them either in Bradford or Liverpool where the first two girls were born in West Derby. Please could you look for Elizabeth Craven born in Thornton in 1836 in the 1861 census. Frances
