Hi Kelly Sorry I have not been able to find George /Caroline Hallam on the 1871 census in either England or Wales. I traced the tiny village in Wales where they were in 61 and checked all the pages on the 71 in case they had been missed, but they were not there. Aliens again???? Regards Mary

Hi Mary Thank you very much for trying to find my George and Caroline. I don't know where they have dissapeared to, it took me 2 days to find them on the 61 census. Then they eventually turned up in Wales! Thanks again. Kelly. x

Hi Mary, I didn't think to ask if you could also find James Mathias in the 1851 census. He would be about 10 Yrs old. If possible could you try for a Mary Ann Unknown born on Ascension Island. Hopefully she will be in Wales in 1851. She will be about 9 Yrs old in 51. Regards David.

Hi I can go back to 1600 on my mothers side but cant get started on my dads side. He is Thomas D`armet Campbell born 1916? Gateshead Co Durham, now Tyne+Wear. He married mum Violet Elizabeth Ashman 1938. Dads dad was also called Thomas his wife was Patience. She remarried a man called Peacock on grandads death which I think was early 1930s.I was born 16-11-1938. any info would be much appreciated. Thank you Tom PS my dad died in action 1940.Dunkirk.

Hi Linda I have not been able to find your Williams family on the 1891 census,in fact I could find nobody living in Barmouth on a search. I then checked the list of parishes covered by the Ancestry 1891 census and found that Barmouth (along with many other places) is not included,so not surprisingly I have not been able to find them. Regards Mary

Hi Tom Not sure I can be much help at this stage as the latest census anyone has access to is 1901,do you know if your Dad had any younger siblings?that might have been around at the time of the 01 census. The only info I can provide is your Dad's birth registration which is : Thomas D'A Campbell Sept Qtr 1915 Gateshead Vol 10a Page 1881 his mothers maiden name was Pearson. You may get a useful snippet of info from the birth cert(if you do not already have it). Good luck Regards Mary
