Hi there, First of all thank you for offering to do look-ups. I am looking for my great great grandfather's family. He was called Albert Henry MOISEY and was born approx 1859 in Tansor, Northants. I think he may have had a brother called John, but not sure. I have found Albert in the 1881 census in Great Grimsby as a fisherman and can more or less trace to Wakefield, Yorkshire where he married Louisa Ann Whittington and had a family. I am however as you may have guessed by now, stumped pre 1881. I need his parents names and anything that comes with them to further my search. Thank you in advance if you can or can not find them.

Sorry I didn't reply yesterday, husband took laptop out of house and pc is broken!. Thanks for the 51 info on Jane SHELL. Regarding Elijah's birth place does it say Tetford? Deptford would make more sense or even Stratford? Still no sign of Jane on 81 or 91 I suppose. She was mistranscribed Sheil on 71. Thanks as always for your time and help, Selena

Re: Rosina Miller Thanks Jess, This could be her. Although the date is slightly out (abt 1975 - I've got her from marriage certificates as 1872/3), her father's occupation of Deal Porter might be the clue as on her marriage certs. his occupation is given as Yard Foreman at Timber Works. Deal Porters as the name suggests worked in the Timber industry. Many thanks. Peter

Hi Jess I am looking for Mary Harriet DAVISON born approx 1837 in Peckham, Surrey. Her father was John DAVISON but he may not have been alive in 1851. According to her marriage certificate he was an engineer and was dead by 1858. Mary MUST be somewhere in the Surrey area as she married there in 1858 and lived there the rest of her life! Any info regarding her whereabouts in 1851 would be very, very gratefully received! I am stuck! Kind regards Evie
