Where do we go from here? Gt grandad left gt Granny in 1916,ranaway with a young girl whom was working at a hotel he was at, they went to Farringdon wilts, in 1917/1918 he wa s sentenced to 15 months hard labour for concealment of a baby body, he was charged with a woman whom he lodged with called Florence Lewis she was married but her husband had been killed at the front, we don't know whether this was the woman he left granny for, but we have a feeling that it isn't. He then had another child called patience btw 1921 1930 don't know who the mother was, he then left this child and mother and married another woman and had another child whom we know about , he died in 1962. his name Joseph Webb. This is all we know and would like to find out if he was the child father and what happened to Patience, Any suggestions would help, Thanks . Nicky

Nicky, I don't have any information about divorces. Did they actually marry? If you know where he went, I would check county record offices to see if they hold information about divorces. It may be that he never divorced, and the marriage was simply 'dissolved' because he didn't return. I don't really think I can help in this situation. I'm more suited to pre-1901 mysteries. Sorry. Perhaps you could ask on the Tips board and someone with better knowledge of this could help you. I already posted this in reply to your previous message.

Thanks Tracy wonder if you can help. Looking for the death of William James Mack Fylde area. He was born 1913 and died as a child. Also if you can and if not too hard to do. Any other Mack Births in the Fylde. I have Sarah 1909 Margaret 1914. But have a feeling my Mum mentioned another boy who also died. Not sure if my memory of this is wrong. But do know William J did die as a little boy. I have had a look on 1837 but with not knowing the year ran out of credits, can't remember which years I checked. Thanks for you time Germaine x
