Hi Cheryl, A nudge is when you type a message on a thread it nudges it to the top of the board. Theres no need to delete your thread when it is finished, it will just go from the board in time, its sometimes useful later anyway. You can view any old threads you've added to by clicking view your threads only. People normally (me anyway!) like to receive all messages from threads on the threads as sometimes you may add to loads and forget what the thanks is for!! Hope that helps?! Laura xx |

Hi there Firstly I must say this is a great site only joined 26th July and am learning all the time - everyone is so helpful - the one thing I have not worked out yet is how do you nudge?? and should you delete your threads once you have the answers?? Should you post your thanks on the threads or send pm's?? Thanks again to everyone that has helped me |

Another nudge, cant remember if this is on but use a relevant title, like births lancashire 1812 or 1851 derbyshire census names arent really very helpful unless they are on the trying to find board! Laura xx |
