Thanks Laura. I must have written it down in my notes wrong - another reason I wanted to re-check the image. I think it would be the 1st one rather than the 2nd - her youngest son was born in 1840. I wonder where she was for the 1841 census if this was her? Thanks again. Margaret

from Denise... hi laura could you please look up information on the foster family from wigan probably ince area, i dont have much about them,ctbil hartley married george foster they had 2sons john and edward, john died in the war he was born 1927, edward was born 1930, there mum was born in ince in 1901, they lived at 195 darlington street.can you help please,thankyou so much denise

from Christine... thanks for trying to help with Gideon the only info i have is as follows LDS 1881 CENSUS Gibeom Vargerson 12 born Saham Toney Distant relative said marriage was 1893 Gibeon (Gideon) Vargeson Death Gibeon Vargerson 1906 on BMD Can not find him on 1901 although because the spelling of surname changes i have a real problem with alot of this side of my family. Hi Denise, here is sybils birth and I have her on the 1901 census if you send me your email address. To get more up to date stuff, try 1837 online. They hold all births deaths and marriage from 1837 to the present day. Hi, Laura. I'm looking for the family of John Currant (or Curant). He was born in Falmouth area in 1817, but had moved to London c1850. In 1881 I have found him living alone in SW London, but was earlier probably living with his family in KingsX area. One daughter MaryAnn (my grandfather's mother) married in 1867, another daughter Sarah [or Catherine Sarah](my grandmother's mother) married in 1881. Thanks, Kev

i have been at this solid for two days now and i am so frustrated with it. here is all the info that i have birth certificate john shard born 24/10/1915 father robert shard born aprox 1884 mother elizabeth shard formerley shard born aprox 1891 address 53 derbshire hill road st helens marriage certificate 23/11/1912 the parish church of st peters , parr, st. helens robert shard age 28 widower miner 1 mersey street father james shard deceased labourer elizabeth shard age 21 spinster 158 newton road father john shard miner witness john henry shard and margaret ann shard the only other thing we know is that john had a brother harold and a sister beattie (beatrice) but if they were older or younger we dont know. i have tried every site i can think of and if i didnt have these cetificates in front of me i would swear they didnt exist. if you have any ideas i would be really grateful. thanks linda x
