Oh my god i hear her cry, its her again!!!! Susie can you have a look for me on both the 41 and 51 census and see if you can find a Hannah Woodbridge born c 1805 in Amersham. I have her on the 61, 71 and 81 all living in Amersham so a pretty good place to start i hope. She had 3 sons but the grave shows no dates of death, so would love to know if they are on at least the 41. Her husband died in 1840,. As always many many thanks in advance Dizzy xxxxx

Hi Susie Back again, 'I cant see isaac in 1841 but he must be there somewhere' Can you check under Jifkins or Jiffkins? Some of the earlier records seem to be that spelling. Thanks April

Hello Susie, and again she turns up trumps, in this case this info is really special as i was convinced that this lady only had 3 sons and i know that they had all died before 1840, so it is great to find her with other children. Thanks hunny, i havent been anywhere but not really done much research as try to keep the garden in check in the summer. back to the dark nights so back to the dead uns as Paul says!!!!!!! Love as always Dizzy xxxx

hi lesley on ancestry it gives you the page and volume number, yea? well it also tells you the reg district i.e aylesbury. if you click on that it gives you the relevant info of where to contact. or the other option is to go to the web site...www(.)gro(.)gov(.)uk this is the site i use. you can either fone them or they provide forms online. susie

susie manterfield(high wycombe) Report 22 Sep 2005 13:18

lesley the gro only covers from 1837 onwards. if you find it on the LDS site then you can visit your local LDS building and have a look there. i keep meaning to go to my local one but never get there lol kal(genealogical nuthouse) often goes to her local one and posts them on the boards, youve probably seen them lol susie
