hi dorothy ive looked all through hertfordshire for john brash but hes nowhere to be seen i looked on ancestry and he is in liverpool in 1861,so perhaps hes there in 1851 aswell. susie

Susie, many thanks for your time, My John Brash must have died between 1851& 61, as his wife is a widow in the 61Herts census,so that would not have been him in Liverpool 61, but thanks anyway, Regards Dolly.

I am trying to to find Henry GOULD, who was baptised at Little Hadham October 1829 and William GOULD baptised there in July 1841. Their parents names are the same, - William and Mary- and I'm hoping to establish whether they are in fact brothers.

Please can you look for the surname Clare with these names---Fanny,Mary Ann born 1819 ,Will 1810,Daniel 1807,Jane 1805,Kitty 1803,Martha 1801,Ann 1799. I think they were all born in Baldock to George and Fanny Clare.Thanks.

I'm looking for 2 separate families, with same surname - SHERGOLD 1) Paul Weston SHERGOLD, born 1810 Deep Canning, Wiltshire, married to Sarah, born 1811, Little Wymondly, Herts. Should be in Ippollits area (have them in 1861 there as farmer) 2)William SHERGOLD, born 1803 Yatesbury, Wiltshire, married to ELiza, born 1807, Marylebone, Middlesex. Should be in Broxbourne/Wormley area. (in 1861 he's an ag lab) There may be more Shergolds in Hitchin area - if so, details would be wonderful. Thanks in anticipation
