Hi Louise on the Meridian Line, I've found a William Cross whose family fit - there is another family member - but - the ages of the parents are different to those which you gave. Hi Stephanie Thanks so much for your offer, how kind. Please could you try to find my grt.grt.grt.grandfather Alexander Swatton. He would have been a labourer ( probably ag.) approx. late 50s-early 60s in age. I think his wife was called Rachel if she was still alive. I think he died 1858 in Pewsey area. Do not know his place of birth, but he lived in collingbourne in the early 1800s. I know the name Swatton is quite common in wiltshire but i have not come across another Alexander in the area as yet. I would be so grateful if you could find him as have hit a brick wall now. Many many thanks Angela Smith

James Jukes abt 1828 Horningsham, Wiltshire, England Head Ag Lab East Knoyle Wiltshire (He married Kitty Jolliff [b.c. 1832, East Knoyle] in 1854 and they had a son in 1851/52 names Henry) Any help will be gratefully received
