Hi Alison Thank you for your kind offer I hope I am not to late. Please can you find the Marriage of James Ruff to Mary ? He was born c1781 and she was born c1768 they were living in Patcham Sussex in the 1851 census. they had a daughter born c1806 so I hope they married prior to her birth. Thanks Margaret

Hi Margaret of Epsom, Unfortunately, there wasn't a James Ruff married to a Mary on the CD. These are what did come up though. They may be of some help to you. Hello Alison, Many thanks for your kind offer, I am trying to find a record of 2 marriages in Sussex. The first is of David Pettet/Pettett/Pettit/Pettitt ( the spelling varies ) and Mary, possibly Redman between 1810-1828 The second is of Thomas Packham and Mary 1805-1835. I know the information is a bit sketchy but your help would be most appreciated. Thanks....................Pam
