I have a number of family members in kent surnames being. TAYLOR,COZENS,we have got back as far as JOHN COZENS 1715-1766 married to MARY REED 1719-1774.The other surname i have is PLEWIS I have only got to JOSEPH PLEWIS OBE.and the last surname is BRISTOW if you need any more details I can give you access to my tree.many thanks,amanda Just checked my details EDWARD PLEWIS born 1817-1894 born ALLHALLOWS. Dont suppose you could find a William Martin c 1771 probably around Longfield/Hartley area. Not sure when he died so dont know if he were still alive in 1841. I only have one child and she was married by then. He would be about 70 by then. Also looking for John Johnson c1838 with parents William and Eliza And a Thomas Baker c1808 and wife Hannah. Both should be in Dartford registration district Thanks Gloria |

I am looking to trace a Thomas Tarrant, born in Dorney, Bucks c.1808, and living in Dartford. He appears (aged 62) on the 1871 census as living at 9 Great Queen Street with his wife Mary (aged 61), son Thomas (aged 25), William (aged 23) and Granddaughter Sarah Ann (aged 10). Mary was born in Shiplake, Oxfordshire the children and grandchild were all born in Dartford. Can you give me details of where the family were in 1841 and/or 1851. Thanks, Eddie.
