Hi Laurie Do you by any chance have a Mary Ann Homer or an Alfred Willson on your 1851 index for the London/Middlesex area?? Possibly the Islington/Shoreditch/Hackney area?? both were born around 1828, Mary Ann in Islington, and Alfred in Wisbech, Cambridgeshire. Mary Ann could have been living with her mother, but unfortunately I don't know her name! I think her father Richard Homer had died by then, but not certain. Alfred Willson was who she married later that year, in September, in Islington. Thankyou so much Lisa xx

Laurrie Can you look for McPherson in 1851 and 1871. Born Norh Cray - Emily 14/2/1835, Albert 3/5/1844, Alfred 14/1/1832, Robert (or Alexander) born 3/6/1838. Many Thanks

Hi Laurie, Would you please try to find my grandparents on the 1891 and/or 1901 census. They were living in the East End of London (Mile End, Bow, Stepney, Bethnal Green or thereabouts - bit vague I admit!) Their names were William Frederick Bargman; and Beatrice Emma Bargman (nee Wells). Their address given when my dad was born in 1906 was 40 Charles Street, Mile End (I think it was in the borough of Mile End, the certificate isn't clear on that point). Many thanx, Brian

Thanks so much for looking. I found them in 1881 in Oxford Street, London...and Emily showed up in 1901 on the Isle of Wight with some of the family. Not sure if Thomas Howard senior was alive or not by 1891. He was born in Burnley, Lancs and Emily in Todmorden. Some of the children were born in Hong Kong. Don't know whether any of this helps! Once again, many thanks.

Hi Laurie You could be the answer to my prayers! :) When you get a chance could you please look on the 1851 for James and Julia Adams hopefully in the Islington/Finsbury area. He would be about 45 born in Cork(?) and a musical string maker and she would be about 41 and born in Whitechapel - They should have a son William (born St Sepulchre?) of about 12 and perhaps one called Michael born Whitechapel aged about 22. I can see you're inundated so it's much appreciated:) David

Hi Laurie I didn't think Mary Elizabeth Hayden would be married in 1871 but would be grateful if you'd check again for Joseph and Mary Eley both born c1851, Joseph was born in Netherton, Dudley. Mary's place of birth differs slightly 1881 and 1891, Bentley and 1901, Redditch. Thanks again Heather

Hi Laurie, Thanks for looking for Frederick Ryland for me on the 1901 census - a boarder at 44 - doesn't look like I'm going to get anymore descendants from him then. Thanks very much, Christine
