Hi Laurie, Could I be really cheeky and ask if you could look up the deaths of Minnie Elizabeth Bates she died after 1954 and (I believe) after 1960. She was born about 1881 not sure where. Also Stephen Tappin born about 1802 probably died in London/Middlesex (not the one who dies in 1862(that was his son))and Henry George Tappin born 27 August 1839 died between Dec 1857 and 1874. Many thanks Michaela

Hi Frank, Sorry I haven't got the 1901 for Belfast. Have you tried looking on the links page for the census finder? It might have it on there and it's a free site. Laurie

Hi Georgina Clements, Sorry I checked Oxford and Bucks but High Wycombe isn't listed. The death indexes after 1983 give dates of birth but anything before that ie 1800-1900 doesn't. For a death of that time you'd need to go through the parish and probate records of the particular area in Kent. If you can give me an area to go on I can see if I can find his death through Ancestry. laurie

Hi Laurie, I am looking for the death of William Swift, born Boston Lincs in 1845. He was living in Melinda Street, Sheffield with 2 sons and was a lodger with Annie Ibbotson, Head, in 1891, but he is not on 1901 census. Sons have been 'adopted' by another family. Annie now died. I am presuming he died in Sheffield. Thank you, Margaret
