I am looking for family called GRIEVESON who lived in Westerton in 1873. Thomas John Grieveson b 1845 in Backworth Northumberland. His father was John (sometimes writen as IONS). Hi Linda Many thanks for your offer. Would appreciate any information you can give me about John Weston born 1833/1834. He was resident at Crag-head at the time off his marriage in 1860 which took place in Pelton. I have details from the 1881 census which gives his residence as 3 Garden Row, Witton Gilbert, also that he was born in Chester le Street. Have you any details about him and his family for the dates you mention? He married Thomasine Pinkney and his father's name was also John. Regards Cheryl

Thanks Linda According to Robert the son's baptism registration his father was a shoemaker so that doesn't look like him. The family moved to South Shields/West Boldon at some point so it must have been before 1841. Thanks a lot Andrea
