Thanks for the information, yes the 1861 Segrotts are mine. I have those details. Unfortunately so far they are the only Segrott's indexed so far in 1861. I remember the end of the 1989 season very well. I was in Australia and had been following the results. I knew what the result had to be for the last match of the seaon for Arsenal to win. I was travelling around and when someone told me I thought it was too improbable so refused to believe them until I had confirmation a couple of weeks later. I also remember Watford doing the double over Arsenal on consecutive days, probably in the late 1980s when Watford were a good team. Its the only time that I remember a team playing on consecutive days. Marcelo

Hi Marcelo I only ever see Arsenal games when they win!!! ( I wish) The game I remember most was when we won the double in 1971 and we beat Liverpool in the cup final. We went to Trafalgar Square to celebrate ( always did that when something good happened, have no idea why) and it was full of Liverpool supporters, who were absolutly fantastic in defeat, had a great time then went back home to Islington to party the night away. Always remeber that. Anyway back to business here are you Segrttts Living at 1 Selling? Lane Allhallows, Barking Harriet 41 unmarried House keeper B. Lynda, I have looked through the Segrott names. I know Harriett, but am not sure about the others, though I am sure that they are all related. It looks like 4 of the 5 may have been living at the same address. Would you mind looking at the images please. I will be extremely grateful. Did you see the Arsenal v Watford FA cup quarter final in about 1988 or 1989 at Highbury. I don't think I will forget that game in a hurry. Watford won 3-1, but then lost to Spurs in the semi final when they had to play with a non-league goalkeeper! Many thanks, Marcelo

Lynda, I've just read your reply and thanks for looking, but I've just had a thought. William was a widower on the marr cert. They married October 1872 so there is the possibility he was still married 1871. Can you tell me if they had a son called I believe Albert. If this was my William it would be great as it would maybe give me his 1st wifes name. William Green b.c1838 Clifton, Beds. Thanks again Diane

Lynda, Many thanks. It looks like 3 distinct groups. Would you mind looking at the image for William Frankis please. Is the Ancestry index complete yet, or are they in the process of completing it? Also, would it be too much to ask how many Segrott surnames there are on the 1871 indexes. Thank you Marcelo

Hi Diane I could find no Alice Riggs on the name index. There were a couple of William Greens on there living in Bethnal Green, but they were already married and not to an Alice. Sorry Lynda
