Hi Lesley,
Would you please look up the Clark family in London.
I am trying to trace a Thomas Clark b: 1871 or 1873 in London. He married my nan Mary Weston In 1916 & he was a widower at the time.
So if you could find when he was born & died & who his first wife was, that would be a big help in finding my family on my dad`s side, I am stuck on him.
Thank you
Theresa

Hi Lesley

Thanks for the Davis family lookup. As you say ,I will fire away ...

Susanna Davis b 1837 in Spalding,Lincolnshire. She had a child David Davis b 1858 Spalding (before marriage). Susanna then married Seth Bailey in 1859 in Spalding.

On the 1871 census information you sent , with David (age 79 b Cowbit,LIN) & Rebecca Davis ,there is a child David Bailey.Where was he born ? & did it have as Grandson ?

Thanks for your help.

Another question, if you have any info:
Charles Druce (circa 1836) and his brother James (circa 1839). I'm trying to trace their mother and father + any other siblings (or their parents' siblings etc). They would also have been born around the Wycombe District, maybe Wheeler End or Marlow, maybe Princes Risborough?

I doubt any of this is wrong ....you were absolutely brilliant with the dates of birth and places of birth and with a name like steptoe which is not a popular name its really all you needed.

People like you make our lives easier.lol

Wow guys, this is all so helpful. Thank you.
Arta L Harwood could be Frederick Steptoe's couldn't she, Lesley? Illegitimately, admittedly. But still? I'm scared I'm writeing this all into my tree wrong because there's so much info here. Thank you.
