Hi peeps,

I'm married into the Lewis family (George Lewis, b 1839) as per above, as I married his great, great grand daughter, and I'm trying my best to piece together the family background with a view to pursuing it back to Greece!

I can tell you that little Antonio (b 1889) married Martha Ineson in 1917, and had 3 sons, one of whom (Anthony Lewis b1921) had 2 more sons, one of whom was *another* Anthony Lewis (b 1942) who is my wife's dad.

I've got all this documented, but any more family links would be gratefully accepted as my wife's dad was knocked out today when I was able to present him with a transcript of conversations I've on Rootschat.com - which I wholeheartedly recommend as a site BTW.

Looking forward to reading more!

Cheers,
Simon

Hi Simon. Welcome to the boards.

This is a very old thread and Lesley might not be still following it. If you click on her name, you can send her a personal message. If she still has the same email address GR will advise her.

Will do - and thanks for the advice. I'll see if I can get hold of Lesley.

Just to mention, Antonio (Athony) definitely had a son called George, as my wife remembers him and 'Uncle Charlie' (both would have been her great uncles, of course).

As I say, it's George (b 1839) who I'm keen to find out more about, but I'll certainly talk to Lesley if I can.
