Hi Margaret,

Thank you for your kind offer.

If you have the time could you look up a Baptism for me - Mary (or Mary Ann) Maynard in the PR's for Nettlebed c1845 (info from the 1871 Census onward show Nettlebed as her place of birth, no mention prior to then - surname from sons BC).

She was my 3x Gt. Grandmother and is proving to be a 'brickwall' !!

Thank you in advance,

Reg

Hi Maggi

You are an absolute Star!

I found reference to the marriage on John George's (my g/uncle) army records....wow...I didn't know he was in the police force as well...with that extra info I seem to now know more about him than his brother my grandad....lol

Thank you so much for that and also for the baptisms of Eugenie (lovely name) and son Leslie.

kindest regards
Gill

Hi Maggi

Do the Caversham prs cover the early 1900s?
If they do, I would be grateful if you could check the marriage in 1911 for
John George PUFFETT & Eugenie NEWBURY and also any of their children who may have been baptised there.

I know that John was born in Filkins Oxon, but wondered if Eugenie was born in Caversham.

Gill
