William Shuker was 21yrs old when he married Elizabeth Wedge in 1903 his father was a William Shuker a Carpenter and her dad was George but I think she is a cousin of Ellen whose dad was Edward as his dad was a John Wedge and George's dad was John also

Hi Val, just caught up with this and NOW I remember. That lovely name Shuker with the huge number of them in the right area to have been the right bloke.

If you say William maried Elzabeth Wedge when he was 21 in 1903 then in theory he should have been born around 1882 (in theory, as he may have said he was 21 in order to marry without parents permission - who were the witnesses?)

Im just amazed how many people with such an unusual name were around!!

His dad was a William Shuker, carpenter? Does it say deceased or anything?

And what does it say Williams job is please?
