Hi Margaret, apology accepted. It would be useful if other people could delete their nudges and lessen the pages I suppose, but the main point of the thread is on the first page. Any other comments are usually just thanks from those who have found the tips helpful. You really don't have to plough through them all. The odd squeaky toy comment is just a way of communication between nudgers - it helps build up a fellowship. Regards.

Hi Margaret; just come off the other thread. Yes, I do see your point after you've explained. I'm glad I've been proved wrong, i.e. you didn't mean it in the way I read it. For once, I don't mind being seen as a prat! lol :-))

I don't know if peeps who've nudged want to try my suggestion further up the page .........?

Got to log off in a min., so maybe see you folk tomorrow. Hope the weather is better where you are than it is here in Devon!

To Cynthia and everyone else (who correctly point out that wording is important, and I have not followed their good advice), I apologise. I didn't mean that the original post was ridiculous, I meant that all the little comments, nudges and deletions made the thread virtually useless in the way that it was probably intended.

At the risk of being classed a spoil sport, I don't really want to read about squeaky toys on the Tips Board. And whilst I agree that saying thanks is polite (and I would usually give thanks in a PM), I think there is a limit - I'm pretty sure that after 14 pages Cynthia and other contributors who made useful points have got the message!

Sorry if that upsets people, which I never intended and still don't, but it does make the thread very difficult to use - or at least it did for me, perhaps others are better at scanning the pages. I'm sure there's lots of useful stuff in there, I just couldn't find it.

Margaret, with respect as Heather says it is for people new to this.

I just wondered why you were looking at it if you weren't new! lol

*realises self is also looking at the thread and isn't a newby!*

Cynthia, this is a very useful thread. Thank you.

Just an idea: you may or may not know peeps, that you can delete your nudges but the thread will still be around. That'll save some pages. Try it, eh. :-))))

Margaret, it is meant for new people. You dont need to read it if you already know this information. Just ignore it.

I think this is a really useful thread and should be near the top so its stands out and people will read it.

Is not this thread rather riculous, I am on page 6 and read nothing of any worth. Can it be deleted?
