Confirmation is always useful

ChristinaS Report 6 May 2013 10:04

I can see now that Reggie had already posted the same information as me. He did it when I wasn't looking :-)

Reggie Report 6 May 2013 10:03

I didn't 'accuse' you of anything.............I asked what you had done.

You now say you found the births of Phyllis's children...but at the the start of this thread, you asked us to look for them

I'll leave you with this now.....................good luck

But, not start any more threads.

Did you notice the info I posted about possible births for Phyllis and her mother?

Emma Report 6 May 2013 09:53

Kenneth was a bishop like dad I have found his details

It has been hard going reggie

All I ever had was dads birth certificate as he died in 1994

On his birth certificate had no father then we found marriage to Edward Harrison

I had no idea how many. Brothers or sisters dad had as he never talked about it I am afraid I have tried my best there really is no need to be mean about it I am a busy mum of 3 and one of which is disabled . I don't get a lot of Time to do this or funds for that matter.

I have found births for Kenneth bishop,Barbara ,Pamela, tony ,and the twins which died so I am trying .

As I have also mentioned before reggie I have also a disability but if you read what I asked I only asked for help with Johnathan and Pamela so really accusing me of doing nothing is very unfair

Reggie Report 6 May 2013 09:42

I posted Dennis's birth.........and info about Kenneth!

ChristinaS Report 6 May 2013 09:36

All registered with mother's maiden name Bishop:

Edward Harrison 1937 - New Forest
William Harrison 1937 - New Forest
Barbara J. Harrison 1938 - Bournemouth
Tony A. Harrison 1940 - Hampshire
Pamela Harrison 1942 - New Forest

Can't see a Kenneth, Dennis and Jonathan/Johnathan with mother's maiden name Bishop, with matching surnames.

Reggie Report 6 May 2013 09:28

Suggestions ONLY

Births Sep 1885 (>99%)
Bishop Edith Annie Wareham 5a 302

Births Sep 1916 (>99%)
Bishop Phyllis M Bishop Wareham 5a 452

Reggie Report 6 May 2013 09:26

Where did you get the name KENNETH?

Was he also born as BISHOP? In 1935..............

Reggie Report 6 May 2013 09:21

Having looked at one of the many other threads, it transpires that Phyllis did NOT know who her father was, and that the name Edith Annie Adams is merely that of one of the witnesses to her marriage

Pam Report 6 May 2013 09:19

Outward Bound Passenger Lists online only go up to 1960 which is probably too early for Pamela.

Pam Report 6 May 2013 09:14

Have you tried Search All Trees which is located under Search at top right hand of the page to see if any of these names are on GR trees ?

Reggie Report 6 May 2013 09:07

These are the twins

Deaths Jun 1937 (>99%)
Harrison Edward 0 New Forest 2b 961
Harrison William 0 New Forest 2b 958

Reggie Report 6 May 2013 09:03

This, presumably, is your father

Births Mar 1934 (>99%)
Bishop Dennis P Bishop New Forest 2b 1006

So he could have had no full siblings

Reggie Report 6 May 2013 08:57

Shipping records are on FMP....but ONLY up to 1960

Why don't you get back to the person who contacted you, and ask for some facts

Have you done any research in the 5 years you've been posting on here about this family?

You should not be asking for birth should be able to find it

Pam Report 6 May 2013 08:54

There is this one in 1944:

Births Sep 1944 (>99%)

Harrison John W Harrison New Forest 2b 1106

So mother's maiden name is Harrison

As Reggie has advised, you should be able to find this sort of information on

Emma Report 6 May 2013 08:37

Reggie could you possibly help ie the message I sent you other day ? I have been contacted bye a Johnathan or John Harrison date of birth 1944 he told me he was dads brother and he was born in lymington but I can not find his birth mother maiden name bishop I can't find what happened to Pamela Harrison either 1942

Emma Report 5 May 2013 18:00

Reggie that's def the death thanks will order that x now to find Pamela as she left the country with a Arab apparently where would I find ships records

Reggie Report 5 May 2013 09:27

No wonder the names rang bells

Reggie Report 5 May 2013 09:18

Name: HARRISON, Phyllis M
Registration district: Southampton
County: Hampshire
Year of registration: 1954
Quarter of registration: Jul-Aug-Sep
Age at death:39
Volume no: 6B
Page no: 530

The above is from FMP, but the record will almost certainly be on freebmd

What research have you tried to do?

Reggie Report 5 May 2013 09:14

Does she name a father on the marriage cert?
