And my reported post was merely that GR were probably too busy dealing with malicious RR'ing

And why did the person who reported it not have the courage/manners to identify her/himself?

If it wasn't so unlikely, I'd think that maybe she/he has a guilty conscience

Wouldn't it be great if GR actually let you know who reported your post as this may stop all the unnecessary reporting.

and before anyone says anything no I haven't lost my mind and also realise it would never happen.

There surely must come a time when GR will deal severely with the perpetrator of these silly RRd - it cannot go on indefinitely ......

This continual yo yo-ing between GR and member emails regarding RRd does more
to disparage long standing members than any other action, and I know personally several very, very experienced members .. who just did not renew -

And I now see them quite happily helping with look ups on other sites

What a waste of everyones time .... and more importantly .. What a resource this site has lost

Shameful behaviour that should be dealt with GR . .......

Many time I have suggested to Genes to publish names of the reporter of posts.

I can't see why they do not do it ,as Gai said it would stop most of it or at least some RR"s in an instant.
