It looks like there are a couple of contenders for the death, at Whitchurch and Newcastle u Lyme, which doesn't make it easy to decide which death cert to purchase!

Maybe anyone watching has more ideas on how to find a recorded death? Have searched all BMD and various other sites, have trawled through hours of probate files, is there another route I can go down to find a burial/death? It looks like my ancestors stayed put in the Staffs area, and worked, married and died there, wd like to find out when and where. MD Cemetary wanted £40 for a record search. Hmmmm! Not sure how desperate I am.. :-0

One of the results of the search is
