I want to look up a few 1921 entries but don't want to join FMP permanently.

It looks as if they bill for a year and it says you can cancel any time, but it is not clear if they refund the balance if you cancel part way through the year.
Also not clear if you can pay monthly instead of a £199.99 lump sum.


Can someone please clarify for me in idiot language.

Also check to see if your Library service is one of those that had access to FMP

You can lookup 1921 without paying, but it can be a touch complicated..............unless the names are unusual

Just ask for what you want.....................we'll gladly give assistance

1921 isn't included in the basic subscription....

If you still want a sub -

The only FMP sub which gives you unlimited access to the 1921 census is the Premium sub.

With all other subs you have to pay separately to see a transcription or image of 1921.
But you can also do that without having a sub at all, so no point in paying one of those subs if 1921 is all you want to see.

A full year's sub is billed, even though a monthly price is quoted.
If you cancel, you can't get a refund, except in the 14-day cooling off period.

I'd be most grateful if four names could be looked up.
They were brothers, all were born on the Isle of Wight. and are OH potential grandfather.

** birth registered as Rolph as born before parents' marriage but used Jenkins. Given names may be reversed.

Their parents were Josephus and Rhoda Jenkins, born 1853 and 1854

That all ties in with what I have located so far and fleshes it out.

I am now waiting for a DNA test of a descendent of one of the brothers, Valerie V Jenkins, who I believe was born in 1945, which will prove or disprove one of the four brothers.
