it seems we started looking for caleb but hes been elusive after the 1901 . i did a look on the CWCG site to see if he was a WW1 casualty but nothing found. i also looked on the National Archives for WW1 medal card but again Nothing. Anyway your Mary wasnt his daughter born too early .she was the daughter of Rosina Amey & Albert. Inns if you want to buy any of the certs you can go direct to th reg office. however the records have been sub devided so they may be held in Kingston :- Kingston upon Thames The Register Office, 35 Coombe Road, Kingston upon Thames, KT2 7BA. Tel: 020 8547 4600. Fax : 020 8547 6188. The GRO refs i quoted wont be any use to them so I would order them direct from the GRO. have you ordered certs before/

well I'm blowed.Seems the poor old girl was older than we thought.Do you know, her mum started with a coffee stall on putney bridge and made enough profit to buy a corner shop which in turn made enough profit to buy the daughters a house each.I dont know if the sons got anything but it was to make sure the daughters always had a home whatever happened.Maybe she didnt think much of the husbands they chose.:)

Oh dear,I'm sure my gran was born in 1902.she died 2-10-1985 .It's all gone wrong hasn't it.Iv'also got a guess birth date for rosina his wife of 1878.So if he was born in1889 she would be a lot older than him.I too cant find a death for rosina.I'll try again with no date.Iv'e tried splling it Innes which is the right way and Inns which is what they changed to.
