Thank you Merry, I like raspberries. Anyone like a bit of pineapple upside down cake? (It's dangerous leaving me with a recipe book and the leftover two thirds of a pineapple, you never know what might result) |

I decided after a lot of thought to call my youngest daughter Naomi. How unusual, I thought, no-one else ever uses that name anymore. There were four in her class of 21 children. OC |

I hadn't realised this site played host to such wild parties. Of course, I'm too young so I'll just have a lemonade. Happy ¾day Merry. There were 135 people in my year at school, of whom 15 were called James. There were four Michaels, including, believe it or not, a Wallis and a Gromett. My own 7/12 day comes in a week, and just to celebrate a day early, I'll be off to Cardiff on the trail of my Glamorgan bunch (see RO board if you've any requests). I didn't particularly enjoy my 20½th birthday as I had two exams. Grr. |

Merry Ooooh dont mention strawberrys. I fought the urge to buy some today. I can just sit there and eat a whole punnet of them My daughter said, dont worry mum, they are part of your 5 portions of fruit a day Now I'm craving strawberries Cant go and get some from the all night Tesco or Asda cos of all the wine you keep giving me. Know what you mean about the Sarah's!! I NEVER had less than 4 Sarah's in my class (& I changed schools 3 times) I moved to France in 1991 so I don't hear people yelling 'SARAH!! - STOP DOING THAT!' at their kids & me jumping out of my skin in the town centre any more - thank g for that!! It seems to be one of those names that doesn't ever completely go out of fashion (like Maude & Gertrude did). Sarah :-) |
