WOW ! I have just followed the link to the website above ........ and my dreams have just come true .. (but at the wrong time) I did once, TRY to print out my entire family tree, and had to *suspend* the printer after 62 A4 sheets, whilst I tried to get the sheets laid out on my dining room floor .... in some sort of semblance. I ended up in tears, because I was lost trying to get everyone fitted in the right place and I knew then that no one would ever have a printer big enough to enable me to have my tree printed up professionally, for me to 'hang' on my wall. I was wrong ???? Having just followed the link, I am now convinced that Ron WILL be able to do it for me ..... IF I can cut the family down to below 500 from 3000 plus ....! It will be a lot of hard work for me ... and extremely time consuming ( as I will have to start from scratch with the details I have ) getting a more practical tree on Gedcom. The ONLY thing that is bothering me ... are all the tree's 3ft x 20 foot long OR can they be eg: 5ft X 5ft or 4ft X 8ft etc etc ? My dining room wall is 8ft high by 15ft long and that is where I would like to display the tree !! Other problem is: I have just spent £100 which was given to me as a present ...:-( wish I had seen this thread on Friday ......... BUT ... it's my birthday in 4 weeks time ! ;-)) hint hint family ! I have just worked out that my tree would be approx £44 .... a SMALL price to pay to display 4 years of long hours, hard work, dedication, love and extreme expense !! Elaine ;-)

I cannot praise Ron highly enough. After a series of false starts sending the email, due to my ISP I hasten to add, and help from Ron over the phone he has now received my 1000+ person file and is going to let me know this afternoon what he is able to do. His answer earlier in the thread is right talk to him he is very approachable. Will let you know the end result.

Elaine, the size of your tree will be dependant on where the people in it sit.... if its full of siblings and descendants of all ancestors then it gets wider.... If you email it to Ron - they prepare it... you get to see it online and make the decision as to whether you want it or not!! He will also tell you what size it will be in the finished article. Ron is a fabulous guy and trust me when i say you won't be disappointed in seeing it in all its glory in print!! THEY ARE FABULOUS!! ps... i must remember to talk to Ron about commission in future!! JOKING HONEST!! xx

Didn't deliver by by hand but I gotta admit, the Postie got his finger out. Posted at 3 in the afternoon and delivered next morning, not bad. I did give Perranmaid a bit of priority in the queue though and I did her tree myself, I like to look after my GR customers. Glad you like it Linda and it was nowhere near £50 was it :0)))). No it wasn't Ron............ again thankyou very much. For once the postie did hurry. My Mum seems thrilled with it await Auntie's reaction next week once Mum and Dad get there. It's the best spend I have made on this addiction in a while. Once it comes back from travels I hope to have time to study it in real detail and will probably spot some mistakes!!! but at least I will be able to see them now. I will be back at some point hopefully once I hear from Ireland.
