Thank you Heather there is very little difference so until this version is out of date I think I will stick. You would never believe that anyone could have such a small family tree as I do. Cheers, Margaret

Diane Report 25 Jan 2007 11:06

Nudging for later.

Heather Report 25 Jan 2007 09:31

Margaret, go to my-history website as they have a chart giving the contents of each version. I cant say I found an awful lot of difference between the 2005 and 2006 when I upgraded. You can still make a website with 2005 and most of the other facilities. Go and check the chart.

Margaret Report 24 Jan 2007 23:53

Good Evening Heather, Happy New Year (almost Easter). Family Tree Maker - I purchased version 2005 last June and do not have a great amount to put on it. Is it worth my buying a later version say 2006 when they appear for £10? Look forward to your comment. Margaret N

Heather Report 24 Jan 2007 10:48

Gina, only just seen your thread - if you go to the website my-history they have a chart on there of all the versions and you can always mail them to ask your query (they are VERY helpful and friendly). I think they have the full 2006 on there for a tenner at the moment.

Gina Report 16 Dec 2006 13:34

Hi I have FMT version 11 and would like to upgrade, but I have noticed on the box it says not for resale outside the US and Canada, I bought in Australia. If I purchase FMT 2006 will it be compatible do you think, want a UK one really. Thanks Gina

Nudge Terry Stewart

Heather Report 8 Aug 2006 15:13

Have a look to see what TWR computing is currently selling it for. I think ancestry themselves have knocked the 2006 version down to about 20 dollars now.

hallyally Report 8 Aug 2006 14:49

Brilliant - Morrisons just happens to be my local store! Shall rush down there (not today though as this is the first time in ages I've been able to get down to some tree-work!) Thanks!

Heather Report 8 Aug 2006 14:29

Well, youll have to trawl the thread to find out - I think it was play*com. But then, two messages back someone is saying its at Morrisons for £5.99.

Joanna Report 8 Aug 2006 14:28

I bought the WDYTYA version from Wilkinsons for £5.99 Jo

hallyally Report 8 Aug 2006 14:09

Hi all Where do you get FTM for £9.99? I googled and it's about £18 (hope no-one has asked this already, I have only just found the thread!) Allie
