NEWTON My husband has Newtons everwhere in his tree. They seem to be a well-travelled bunch, and Newton married Newton four times!! Confusing or what! John Newton born c 1817 in Braceby Charles Austin Newton born c 1827 in Ropsley John married Emily Newton in Checkley Staffs, moved to London. Charles also moved to London. My mother-in-law always mentions a link to Sir Isaac Newton's family, but I think it's wishful thinking!! I don't think he had any children!

ROWBOTHAM - Caythorpe Pleeeeease. Found great grandfather Joseph on the 1871 census way back in 1987at the old PRO in Chancery Lane. Now have his marriage certificate so know his father was William, but no trace of him. Also Charles b c 1870, son of Joseph and his wife Emily (Smith). He married a woman called Sarah from Biggleswade and had two children Albert and Frederick by 1901, but then where? Family may possibly have gone to Hinckley. Cheers Sheila
