Jess, Good morning. Explanation for request first. I have obtained the correct death certificate for my (1823c) Thomas Cooke, died Leicester 1875 given as 51yoa, cirrhosis, present and also at the correct address of 64 Granby Street was 2nd youngest son Arthur. I have long suspected tragedy and have also been pursuing an early death for his son 1846 twin Thomas, in that respect I have obtained a death certificate for such at 26yoa in 1872. this young man died of small pox, more unfortunately for me is that his father is given as William Cooke, nevertheless, there is better, he is also a Cab proprietor, and lives just around the corner at 70 Rutland Street, Leicester I am therefore hoping that you may be able to identify a family group with either William or Thomas as the Head at that address in 1871. Loads of thanks in advance win or lose, Bob

Hi Jess Me again!! You found a William Humphrey born 1877c for me the other day on the 1881 census. living with his father George born 1855c his mother Susan (nee Bush) born 1856c his brother Albert born 1875c and his sister Emily born 1879c. I was wondering if you could check a few things for me and if they confirm something that i am pretty certain they will i would have found a connection with this side of my family which will be so good i will finally be able to learn more about that side. I need to know parents and siblings if you can of both George and Susan. Also if you can do an 1891 lookup on them all to see if William had another four siblings by then that would be great. I have my fingers crossed hoping you find something promising. It was all in the Ridgewell Essex area Thankyou so much for looking xx Hi Jess just seen you can also check deaths i dont know if you can but from a death lookup can you find out any info on their relatives?? Husbands name etc or would i have to get the cerificate for that not sure sorry!!!! Just in case i will give you the details tits an Eliza (possibly full name was Elizabeth) Hazelden died aged 40 on 18th March 1896 in Kent i believe Sevenoaks!! My Great aunt recently found a card from the flowers from her funeral in her grandmothers photo album. We are researching the Hazeldens but havent come across an Eliza yet so wondering whether she married one of the children or something!! If you cant help with this dont worry at all you are such a great help with everything anyway!!! xx

I can only hope that they were born Leicestershire Because of the proximity of the addresses and the Hackney Cab connection I am hoping that these families are connected.
