Hi My main project is an ancestral chart and these folks aren't on the direct line, but they're intriguing to me... Originally from Hants & Norfolk, married in the Hull area in 1878, still there for 1881 and second child born there in 1883 before moving on to Lincs by 1901. CHRISTMAS - Eli Hector (RN /coastguard) & Charlotte (nee NEEVE), children (so far) Frances & Thomas. Christine

SCRAFTON and SIMPLE families Scrafton family - Thirsk - esp. George Scrafton, born about 1742 somewhere other than Thirsk, who married in Welbury, 1777 to Elizabeth Simple whom I think was from Thirsk. They settled in Thirsk and had several children... but its the origins of George I need to trace. So anyone descended from that Simple line too (in the nicest possible way of course!!) please get in touch. Thanks Tyne
