COCKS family We are back to Thomas Cocks b 1535 Bishop's Cleeve. He had 16 children. Our line stayed in Bishop's Cleeve and Gloucester until 1800's, some then moved to Warwickshire. One of Thomas' line went to Eastnor. Thanks to Genes and Curious Fox there are now 7 of 'us' working together. Looking for more of the Cocks family, we have been able to share so much info and three of us are planning a 'meet' next month. Gill

Stephens/Fauckes?/Mason Families of Bisley Gloucestershire. Thomas Stephens (no dates or further info), whose son Thomas baptised c March 1/1754, (no name of wife, same as above), had a son George baptised c Feb 15/1778. George (married to Jane Fauckes?) had a son Enoch baptised in July 1804, married Elizabeth Mason Oct 20/ 1823 (born 1806 Bisley). Their son Henry (3x G/Grandfather) born Bisley c March 6/1825. All is ok until I get to George...have conflicting dates of birth for him...LDS says about 1773 re his birth, Jane Fauckes about 1777, married c 1798 (Bisley). Info re LDS for Enoch gives George & Jane as parents. I've been hitting this brick wall for quite some time now & feel I must be missing something here. Any help very much appreciated. Thank you. Robin.
