BADDER I am looking for any connections to Joseph Badder b c1803 Ashbourne, Derbyshire. He married Rhoda James in 1836 Ellastone, Staffordshire but they were living in Ashbourne in 1841... by 1851 they had moved and had settled in Stockport, Cheshire. Linda

BARKER - Samuel, born somewhere in Derbyshire about 1814, no other details known. Married in Oldham, Cheshire; was on the 1841 census in Cheshire, then immigrated to Australia in 1849, so tracing possible family is proving difficult.

I am looking for: MURFIN/MURPHIN family who were in Ingleby in the early/mid 1800's but before that? Samuel Murphin married Zilla Carey in Ingleby 1790's but does not seem to have been born there. William BEARD married Joyce ABBOT Walton on Trent 1779. Does anyone have any information on this pair? If William was 'my' one, then he was from Ipstones in Staffordshire and I can't find any birth details for Joyce. I also can't imagine why they were married in Walton. Thanks everyone

Hello Margaret. Interesting to r ead through your Derbyshire additions. I see one of your entries their ancestor managed a gas works in Dronfield. My grandfather Thomas Boundford Jones was manager of the same about 1900. They lived at The Towers Unstone Rd Dronfield. I've been trying to find if it still exists as it has many memories to me, having been born there. Would welcome any information. Regards Marjorie.
