I have a small number of adoption certificates. I will dig them out and post the name of the registras.

The original entry of birth is annotated, on instructions from the Registrar General, therefore the Superintendent Registrars name next to the word adopted is the SR for the area in which the birth originally took place and where the original entry is held,and not necessarily the area where the adoptee was.
