Maybe I didn't treat you
Quite as good as I should have
Maybe I didn't love you
Quite as often as I could have
Little things I should have said and done
I just never took the time
You were always on my mind
You were always on my mind

Maybe I didn't hold you
All those lonely, lonely times
And I guess I never told you
I'm so happy that you're mine

If I made you feel second best
Stephen I'm so sorry I was blind
You were always on my mind
You were always on my mind

Tell me, tell me that your sweet love hasn't died
Give me, give me one more chance to keep you satisfied, satisfied

Little things I should have said and done
I just never took the time
You were always on my mind
You were always on my mind
You were always on my mind

gillian, deepest sympathy for your loss, a mothers greatest nightmare,

i must admit i didnt read your other threads, there were so many it was a bit overwhelming, please dont feel that is an attack, just an observation....so seeing you have a new one i have looked in today.

i admire your drive to make others aware of this awful disease when you have lost so much.

having one thread is not just a way of gr keeping things under their terms, it also has quality of effect over quantity, so good luck with this thread, may it bring you comfort and raise awareness.

best wishes

xx

I have just been down to the cemetary, while the sun was shining, and you can see the damage the winter has done. His little rabbit, and the little boy are grimy from the winter rain, his plants have just started to show a little life. The leafs, that I have spent forever clearing, are finally no more. I think this weekend, weather permitting, is major clean up time.

Gillian,

Everyone else has said all there is to say, about the tragedies which have touched your's and your families lives.

I hold you all in great esteem and admiration for the way you are facing such adversity, and striving to help others in the process.

God has seen fit to grant you the stregnth to see this through on account of the love you have, for your son and grandson, and I thank him for that.

May you always find the stregnth through his love and with the support of all your friends and family, and the great many lovely, supportive people on Genes.

God Bless you all Gillian.

With warmth and love towards you and yours.

A loving nudge for Stephen. Jennifer there is a big piece in the daily mail today about SADS and CRY and the need for a test for all youngsters. About a poor little 7 year old (one of twins) who died suddenly.

Memory Lane
by Marian Jones

There is a place in every heart,
They call it Memory Lane,
Where thoughts of loved ones lost
Forever will remain.

God made this special place
When He first created man,
For He knew it would be needed,
As part of our life's plan.

He knew when loved ones left us,
We'd need some time to heal,
To come to terms with sorrow
And the loneliness we'd feel.

So when you lose a loved one
And your life is filled with pain,
The comfort of their presence
Will be found in Memory Lane.

Thinking of you

Thank you all so very much for your lovely comments but I must say I am not brave but just determined to stop this happening to others, and now again I have been advised of another Death to SADS, in today's Daily Mail, after being told of this I have driven forever trying to find a copy, finally got one at ASDA. Young Hannah, a twin, just 7 years old, died suddenly. Leaving behind a brother and sister, who will now be eligible for the test, but what good is that for Hannah. Yes her parents will know if the others have it, there is a 50-50 chance, but the time it takes in terrible. Stephen has been gone almost two years and my nephew is just about to get treatment, I just hope they are in time.

Rest in peace young Hannah, just seven short years on this earth. I am thinking of you and those you have left behind sweetheart, I know how hard it will be for your Mummy and Daddy and all your family and friends. I now read the estimate of 8 a week is probably nearer 12, that is bad news. But we on here Hannah, are fighting to change that, I am just so sorry it was not in time to save your life. Be at Peace little one, I am sure my Stephen will find you and comfort you XXXXXX
