You are who you think you are.


meaning.....if you think you are nothing...then you will be that person.....If you think more of yourself then perhaps some of it will shine through.


I think we are all different things to different people.

I'm nothing like I seem on here.

In real life (when kids aren't present) I'd tell anyone what I really think.

Can't be really me on here for obvious reasons so it's a watered down version.

Those that have met me though would be better placed to answer this than I am xx

On here I do my best to stay calm and polite (sometimes I get a bit short or sarcastic on here but I try to keep that to a minimum.)

In real life I can be a prize b*tch if needs be, I have a dreadfully wicked sense of humour, and apparently - although I don't really believe it because I'm a shy wallflower type inside my head - but in real life I'm loud! Me! I find it difficult to believe but several people have told me so!!

Difficult one though because if in my head I'm a quiet shy person but others see me as loud and "outspoken" then I don't know how I come across on the boards. Hopefully as quiet and shy ...

I have no idea to be honest lol


I think folk on here see or have seen both sides - my confident side and my vunerable side.

I think tho that I am probably more confident on here with strangers than if i met them in the flesh.

But as others have said - there are many sides - i wear a coat of many colours so i have no idea who the real me is either lolol

I think on here im a bit more reserved than i am when you talk to me off the boards or in real life, the main reason for this is I like David swear loads and if I wasnt as reserved I would of had more bans than hot dinners by now lol

I think we all have many layers to our personalities but unless a situation arises when some of them are needed others dont get to see them. As we do get to know people more we see more of their layers but each beholder might have picked up on traits that others have not.

But then as others have said I dunno how I come across on the boards though feel free to tell me though i can pretty much guess what a few think of me lol

I suppose I am the same, I don't really know......I am just ordinary, no airs and graces........a wife, mother and grandmother......I don't try to be anything other than what I am.......no point......quite happy being me......

......on the other hand there is Sally the Peasant, who has a yearning for the medieval times when times were hard, but life much simpler......I like the outdoor life and life on a farm with animals, and in a way I think I would have fitted in quite well......well, for a couple of days anyway......like my home comforts too much.......

In real life, I'm just a really nice person who enjoys voluntary work, walking puppies and befriending the elderly so I get a mention in the will.

So just a normal, everyday all round good egg I would say.

Oh yes I'm much prettier and younger on here than in real life, aside from that think so.

Hi Lesley.... hi everyone... this is like one of those self assessment thingies, isn't it?

Right, let's think.. I am more or less the same *me* in real life as on the boards. I think.

I can be loud and dominating, I can be shy, retiring and passive, I appear to have oodles of self confidence on the boards and in real life, but that is not the case. I am an instinctive carer and nurturer... but now know when to back off if I feel I am being taken advantage of in some way, or when the time is right for the nestling to start to fly.

Type in your request... I respond with the answers/info you want or that I have available, depending on the circumstances and request.

But handle the paper badly and I'll give you a nasty cut.. not fatal, but painful for a while.

Not sure what that means, lol!! But it sort of feels like me! Well, ask me again tomorrow and I am sure I'll be different!
